Nowhere Prophet Wiki is a community project run entirely by volunteers to provide information for the game.

Our community of editors is open to anyone. If you would like to join in:

  • Register
    • While you can edit anonymously, a free account makes it easier to keep track of your own edits.
  • Be bold
    • There's no need to wait. Jump right in and start editing. The wiki maintenance category may be a great place to start, or you can start small by fixing spelling, grammar, and other errors you come across.
  • Start a new article

Alternatively, just type a new article name in the search box. A link will be provided to start the article at the top of the search results.

Current projects[]

In addition to the usual wiki maintenance tasks at Special:SpecialPages and stub pages, you can contribute to one of the larger endeavors below - most of them have simple tasks that anyone can do, but require significant time to bring to completion.

Easy (visual editor-friendly)[]

Add information to incomplete pages[]

  • Many of the core pages in Category:Nowhere Prophet could use more information and images.
  • Enemy pages for the most part have very little information at the moment. You can help by simply adding rows to the respective "Observed stats" tables to help build a more comprehensive description of their abilities, by describing the enemy’s tactics or by adding their flavor text and status effects where missing.
  • Luxury items is missing descriptions for a few items, and we would like to include a sample of advantage and hazard obstacles for Fine Fabrics and Natural Dyes.
  • You can also write your own Guides or add strategy tips to any enemy, card or equipment page, for example how to best defeat a boss or particularly interesting card and item combinations.
  • There are tons of events and story choices to explore in the game. Taking the time to consign the possible paths and outcomes on the wiki while you play the game will help guide other players along who are trying to reach specific events or unlock classes or convoys. The Walkthrough template syntax requires editing directly in wikitext, so this is generally an Intermediate-difficulty task (see Template:Walkthrough for instructions), but you can also help by sharing your results in an article’s Talk page. More experienced users can then insert that information in the article for you.

Categorize non-standard and missing walk-throughs[]

A template exists for collapsible walk-throughs that are easier to read both on mobile and desktop, but some pages use a complex table format that doesn’t scale well (e.g. Spaceport). If you find such pages, please add them to Category:Walkthrough needed.

  • You can also add this category if you find a page that doesn’t have a walk-through at all and should have one, but there is no need to add it to partial walk-throughs that are simply missing information.

Replace basic card links with the Card template[]

If you find links to cards that would look better with the in-game deck list design, e.g. . 1 Hermit , use {{Card}} instead. For example, change [[card-name]] to {{Card|card-name}}.

Add the Power and Status templates where applicable[]

If you find references to powers and status effects, use {{Power}} or {{Status}} on them to turn them into links to those respective pages and display a tooltip on hover. For example, change This item grants ''Beast Call''. to This item grants {{power|Beast Call}} to produce Beast Call.

  • Note: Those descriptions are still being added to the templates, so most tooltips do not exist yet, but the links will work. See below for how to create those tooltips where missing.

Suggest changes to templates[]

If you find templates that don’t behave or look exactly as you think they should, please let Salvatos know. Also, feel free to request new templates.

Simple (some wikitext needed)[]

Create missing card pages[]

You can see the full list of expected card pages here. Red "status" links indicate missing pages. Use the "Boilerplate" link to open the edit page in a new tab, prefilled with the appropriate code and instructions. The list specifies the deck and faction (if any) to use for categorization.

Intermediate (additional effort or complex wikitext needed)[]

Implement the Walkthrough template to event and location descriptions[]

A template exists for collapsible walk-throughs that are easier to read both on mobile and desktop, but some pages use a complex table format that doesn’t scale well (e.g. Spaceport). A template has been created to place those choices in collapsible lists instead (see e.g. Neru Khan). Converting to the new format takes time and lots of cross-referencing, but would be very appreciated. See Template:Walkthrough for instructions.

Reorganize categories[]

Our category tree is a little shaky at the moment. If you have a keen eye for organizing content and would like to go through the wiki and straighten it up, feel free to get in touch with other active users and admins to establish a new standard.
